Master *Houpu Mate, aged 12 years* son of Letsei Mate of Nongdam Kuki

village in Ukhrul District is suffering from Blood Cancer. He is currently

at the *Radiology Ward. Bed No 6 of RIMS, Lamphel, Imphal*, *Manipur*.



Letsei is an activist and Coordinator of the Mapithel Dam Affected

Ching-Tam Organization (MDACTO) which is working to ensure the recognition

of downstream affected people of Mapithel Dam. He needs your financial

support for the treatment of his son.

The second phase of chemotherapy is to begin last friday but because of

want of money the treatment is pending. *Please support urgently* to make

the treatment possible.

The doctors say the medicine will cost around 25,000 (twenty five thousand)

and blood (platelets and fresh) will cost another 15,000 (fifteen thousand).

A total of 40,000 INR is required for this phase. Whoever can help in

whatever small way please extend your help to Houpu to live a little longer.
